Therapy is a process of inner exploration.
Whether you are navigating a major life change, struggling with relationship issues, grieving a loss, or you’re just not feeling like yourself, you don’t have to go through it alone. I am here to support you by being a compassionate witness and guide. I’ll help by shining light on what’s going on, what’s getting in the way, and I’ll assist you in taking steps toward your desired outcomes. I’ll teach you how to cope with the stress and anxiety of the situation, how to set boundaries where they may be needed, and how to be more loving to yourself and others along the way.
The effectiveness of therapy lies greatly in the therapeutic relationship we create together. That’s why I’m passionate about offering a safe space for you to open to the truth of who you are at your own pace. In other words, we will cultivate a a safe space for you to be brave in.

- Self-esteem, Self-worth, and Self-care
- Codependent Personality (cultivating confidence, communication skills, setting

What You Can Expect in a Session
We’ll work with a combination of talking and experiential techniques. Typically, we’ll begin by talking about what’s going on for you so that we can understand it and uncover what’s keeping you stuck. Most of the time our session will look like talking and exploring through the hour. There may be times we begin or end with a mindfulness practice in addition to talking. Alternatively, we may decide to shift into art therapy, guided imagery and visualization, somatic/body-oriented work, or techniques such as psychodrama and inner parts work. We can shape the session according to what your needs are.

There are many things that can get in the way of getting therapy when you need it — commuting, parking, having kids at home, living outside of the area, or simply not wanting to leave the comfort of your own home. If tele-therapy is something that interests you, I provide virtual sessions using a HIPAA-compliant platform. Schedule a consultation and we can determine if tele-therapy is right for you.
