Tend To Yourself Thursday {5/15} This Week’s Mindful Guided Visualization

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, I’m sharing a guided practice each week including mindfulness meditations and guided visualizations to help you reconnect with yourself and care for your inner world.

Mindfulness has helped me befriend my experience especially when things feel uncertain or emotionally charged. It helps us to zoom out. It reminds me, again and again, that I don’t have to believe everything I think. There’s a steadiness available within when we pause, breathe, and observe.

This week’s practice is a “Clouds in the Sky” guided visualization, inspired by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). It’s designed to support those who feel overwhelmed by thoughts or emotions and are learning to create space from them, rather than be consumed by them.
